“We are children of the same family, and ought therefore to be helpers one of another.” – George Mueller
Salem4youth is a faith-based ministry to young men “at risk.” We receive no state or federal monies to operate our program. We let our needs be known and trust the Lord for His provision. It has been a great blessing to see how He works in and through His people.
- Scholarship monies for our young men. There is a monthly tuition cost to the families who place their sons in our program. We are in the early stages of formulating a scholarship program designed to help families with some tuition assistance. Contributions to the ministry can be earmarked for our scholarship program.
- General Operating. When you are operating a ministry like Salem4youth there are a variety needs. A vehicle sometimes breaks down, we run low on copier paper or we need to make a repair in the residential cottage. We maintain an account to cover these ongoing expenses.
- Animal feed. An important part of our ongoing work with our young men is our livestock program. We have horses for our young men for therapeutic reasons and for sale and we raise and sell cattle to cover a portion of our ministry. Feeding the livestock can be expensive. This is an ongoing challenge.
The bullet points above are but three of our current needs. We will continue to keep our needs list current so that you can intelligently invest in the work of Salem4youth.
Salem4youth is a 501c3 organization and will accept cash, checks, credit cards or Paypal.
